My bad guys. Pibull is definitely out of this fight.
I spoke to him and being a the type of fighter he is, he was going to fight no matter what. He wants to fight in the worst way possible and not pull out of anything, for any reason. After conferrring with his management and trainers, cooler heads prevailed and they decided against letting him fight. He did hurt his knee during wrestling practice and needs some time off to heal. Again, sincere apologies for the misinformation and jumping the gun.

Smart move, even if it does suck. Fitch is not someone you wanna fight with a bum knee. Thiago is badass and would still bring it, but I'd rather see him close to 100% for that matchup.

Shitty news but I'm glad he pulled out of the fight, it's not smart to fight someone as good as Fitch with an injury. Much respect to him for wanting to fight anyway though, he did fight Hughes with an injury but hopefully he recovers and has a very active and successful 2010.
