Firstly there is no one who does a hollywood movie who does all of their own stunts.  NO ONE.  I don't care what the poster says.  Wanna know why?  Insurance.  If Rampage takes a bump and even just sprains his ankle and they have to take a week off, then the production just lost a couple of million dollars in down time.  Because if a star can't shoot, then the crew can't work, but union hours dictate they get paid anyway.

Even if Rampage begged and pleaded to do his own stunts beyond basic falls and fights, the Producers would say not no but HELL no.  The days of Yakima Canutt are LONG gone.

dude I would not want to do my own stunts, depending on what they are. Stuntmen get hurt all the time....I once saw a behind the scenes thing with Jackie chan who hurt his leg, and had to finish a movie in a cast....why risk it when a stunt man can do the job?

Tom Cruise co-Produces his own movies.  Therefore he gets to say what he does and doesn't do.  WIth that said, he still doesn't do ALL of his own stunts.

No one does their own stunts. When you hear about someone doing their own stunts, it is simple and not dangerous stuff. Small chases, jumps, etc... but anything that takes a trained professional to do is done by one... period, regardless of what their publicist says. No production can afford to injure a star, or even get any kind of cut or bruise that could potentially mess with continuity or delay production in anyway. Also stunt guys on studio pics are union and there are some very strict rules and regulations.

Your facts are no good here. Rampage is on the outs with the UFC so half this forum wants to bash him for anything.

No actors do all of their own stunts. I have been doing stunts since 2005. If an actor DOES do a stunt, it is something simple like firing a gun or selling a punch.
