We can also report that Shane McMahon had a meeting at the UFC offices recently. Dana White, when asked for more information, responded, "No comment."

Wow that's almost but not quite something that completely doesn't resemble a news story

I'm guessing most of you haven't heard, but Shane recently left the WWE. So if he's talking to the UFC, it has nothing to do with the WWE.

This reminds me of when Shane bought the WCW and "left" WWF.

The Lesnar sickness ties into this in some way... I'll have to brainstorm this conspiracy more with the aid of The Paranormal Ground.

Gene Snitsky v. Hulk Hogan for the title in a mma submission fight is the main event for wrestlemania.

Look at the facts:
Shane left WWE to pursue "other ventures."
Zuffa recently said it would be open to selling a minority stake
Shane and Mark Cuban are friends
Cuban is a bond holder of Zuffa.

Maybe Cuban and Shane are buying 10% and Shane will work with WWE to develop it, he will know more than most people at Zuffa when it comes to the PPV business and global development. Could be an interesting year.

So let's say Shane does become part owner of the UFC and has a major roll after things are signed. Is he someone to take seriously given his background in "Sports Entertainment" ?

Whatever he does, I hope its behind the scenes, I could be wrong on this, but if his face is as visible' as Dana's, it's probably bad for the sport.

Shane has a lot more international entertainment department connections than the current ZUFFA employees do. Shane would be good for global expansion of UFC, because of what contacts he has.

Very true Tim. I'm just saying perceptions is 90% of everything, considering.
