"CHANGE IN PLANS!
We are now looking for 155’s & 170’s. Unfortunately they are no longer considering 185’s. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you or your fighters. Dana has also changed the requirements. The fighters must have fought at least 3 professional fights. Don’t even bother sending anyone to the tryouts unless they have a pro record.
I still encourage everyone to attend the tryout this season. The format will still be USA vs UK. So again spots are very limited this season.
I will be in London until Thursday, and will have limited phone access. Please email if you have any questions.

These statements in the same letter make no sense ... and has this letter been verified as legit? No statement has been released by UFC or Spike. Seems like an easy way to have less guys show up if it was a fraud written by someone wanting a better shot at getting in. Anyone know for sure?

Wasn't Amir Sadollah 0-0 when he won TUF?

I thought about that same thing when I read the post ... and no official release is on UFC.com or anywhere else I've looked.

it's a legit letter. I have known Jamie for over 2 years and have worked with her to get fighter's on the show. I also received the same e-mail.

So what if fighters show up with less than 3 pro fights will they not even get to tryout?

Its from 9am probably till late tonight, in London it took 11 hours...
The 3 pro fights is bullshit, i would probably own most of the guys with 3 pro fights.

I always like hearing about the tryouts.
I remember one story about a guy named Ricky or something a couple years ago. He looked like he was homeless or just came from church (i remember something about his attire being odd) and by the end of his grappling session, the crowd was going batshit for him. I wish I could remember the details, or maybe some blue namer could ttt the thread or copy and paste the story.
tttryouts!!!

the place was packed. unfortunatly, i saw quite a few guys i know can barely hit 185 there.
they were set to do some grappling from the knees, and some pad work. i think it was 2 3 minute rounds.
i didn't stay too long, but it was crowded. sean sherk was there, and i met din thomas who is a really nice guy.
