LOL@ anyone who still thinks Iole is a Zuffa shill after watching the trailer!

Pretty good/professional production, IMO.

Edited to add:

"His success in the Sport of Mixed Martial Arts came to an abrupt halt as politics came knocking on his door again. "

Matt has only lost twice since leaving the UFC and considering his opponents, neither of which was even close to being a can, how did/has his success in the sport of MMA come to an "abrupt halt?"

He won the fight against Rampage (IN MY OPINION) and he fought Fedor in a weight division 2 classes above his own. No shame in either loss.

Matt could have gone back with the UFC but he would have given up the IFL team and not joined Bodog.  Prior to fighting in Bodog, the UFC was still interested in him.  No question that Matt is a top tallent.

 Me too--

Still not sure what a "media outlet" is--other than a poor and indefensible excuse.

Funny--I asked if a Dana White release would be a reputable source, and was told no.  Of course, just days later, Dana, Ratner, and the UFC's NY study was cited at length.

It's hard to say how he would do against the MW in UFC, haven't seen matt fight at 185 enough.

I think Matt would beat Anderson. Just my two cents. Either way, it is a shame that Dana and Matt haven't been able to come to terms to get him in the UFC.

No doubt.

IMO Lindland would be a huge asset in terms of fight potential. He’s stated that he’d drop to 170 if the money was right and we all know he’ll fight at 185 and above. Even if Dana still had beef with him he could match Matt up with the toughest fights in hopes that he’d lose/take a serious beating.

Here’s to seeing Matt in the UFC in 2009! **crosses fingers**

You could cross your toes and braid your hair too but it'll never happen now.

That's just crazy talk. Did you not see his last fight at Affliction with Fabio? He looked horrible.

Yes I did.

First, he had pneumonia in both lungs for what it is worth.
Second, did you not see his previous fights (Newton, Horn, Rampage, et. al.).
Third, match-ups make fights and Lindland is strongest where Anderson is weakest.
Fourth, its just my opinion.

First, It's worth a little, but not very much.
Second, I did. His fights with Horn and Rampage are well over 2 years old and his fight with Newton is creeping up on it. Newton hasn't exactly presented a threat to anyone in over 4 years and the same could be said for Horn. Really, his fight with Rampage was his last good showing and even that is questionable.
Third, I would have agreed with you before Silva out wrestled Marquardt and beat Henderson. Really, Henderson is the best example of why that a fight with Lindland would most likely go badly.
Fourth, it's cool. That's what forums are for. Without dialogue it would be pointless.

Matt is a stud. If not the top 185'r then one of the top. Unfortunately this is sports entertainment not sports.

I wonder what familiar faces are in Matt's documentary.

Any media?
