Where in the hell is Strikeforce?

Their last show was in November (4 months ago) and they haven't even ANNOUNCED their next show.

In fact, the last piece of news at all out of the company was that they signed Jorge Gurgel....on December 1.

The company was seemingly building a lot of momentum.  Selling out shows, getting on NBC and HDNet, and slowly upgrading their fighter roster.  Then....they disappeared.

Can anyone give us any insight on what is going on with Strikeforce???

Probably just taking it easy through this economic downturn.

Coker is a smart, smart man. Spending wrecklessly is the worst thing you can do right now. Wait it out.

Its not smart for any business, particularly promoting, to go completely "radio silent."  I hear you on maybe slowing down the shows or cutting the payroll, but to risk fading from the public's consciousness in the promotions business is baffling.

Probably 4-5 shows a year.

Frank and Cung haven't fought in forever. It'd be great to see them back in there.

He'd come back for some big money fights.

No they aren't... In fact, they just took on a new investor and I know for a fact it is NOT the UFC...

TOWE tell your boys to get a press release or an event announcement out.

April is going to be PACKED with MMA with big events from UFC, WEC, DREAM, Sengoku, Bellator, and Strikeforce.

Well that's a hard act to follow.

Strikeforce has that kind of money?

That's cool, so we'll get Lawler vs Misaki at least. Thomson vs Alvarez?

they're buying it out of bankruptcy, I'm not sure its going to cost all that much beyond the assumption of debt.  I guess we'll find out soon.

You're retarded. I want an ACTUAL link that will bring me directly to the article. I'm on Sherdog right now, nothing about Strikeforce buying EliteXC out of bankrupcy. When was the last time a 2nd rate Company bought an even worse promotion out of bankrupcy? I'll tell you, NEVER!

What a bunch of losers...
