Fighter Bio

Chris Albandia was born on October 8, 1975 in Chicago, but of Filipino descent. His parents met and married in Chicago, with their three sons taking up wrestling. However, it was at Minnesota’s St. Olaf College that Chris took up the fighting style.

By chance, some years later Chris was encouraged to make the transition from wrestling to MMA, Chris had been training out of in Chicago, and he began training with a pro boxer and learnt to respect that game.

Chris is now training with team Chicago Red Bears in International Fight League.
