Fighter Bio
Career
Mike Ciesnolevicz (born October 28, 1979 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) is an American professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He is currently fighting for the Quad City Silverbacks of the International Fight League.
Mike Ciesnolevicz took a different, more well-rounded path to the IFL. Never a wrestler in high school, Ciesnolevicz competed in baseball, basketball, and football, while taking karate, judo and kickboxing classes.
Ciesnolevicz attended Lock Haven University, a wrestling power, where he walked on to the squad and honed his grappling skills while earning a B.S. in Health and Physical Education. But it wasn’t until he met and began training with Pat Miletich that his mixed martial arts career began.
Outside to competing and training full-time with the Silverbacks, Ciesnolevicz worked as a substitute teacher.
