Career
Brian Stann is professional MMA fighter and a former Marine, training with Xtreme Couture. he began training for fighting in May 2004 after completing the Marine Corps premier martial arts course in Quantico Virginia.
He eventually got in touch with WEC matchmaker Scott Adams after he had had one pro fight. Adams took a look at the results of that fight and knew he had to get in touch with Stann.
Stann received a Silver Star, the third-highest medal given by the military, for extraordinary heroism and he graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
Stann, who is now stationed in Camp Lejeune, N.C., said his experience in the Marine Corps has made it easier for him to become a professional mixed martial arts fighter.
