Fighter Bio
Career
Tom Murphy was an accomplished wrestler in New York State where he finished his wrestling career as an NCAA All-American at 190lbs. Tom has competed throughout the United States in the sport of MMA, he has fought on Pay-Per-View and been selected to participate in Spike TV's Ultimate Fighter 2. Tom currently holds the rank of Brown Belt under Julio Fernandez. After his career as an NCAA wrestler he met Julio Fernandez and Carlson Gracie and he has been training with both of them since 1999. Tom graduated from State University of New York at Brockport, Brockport, New York Bachelor of Science: Psychology May AD 1998: Summa Cum Laude with 3.81 GPA. Tome Murphy currently working with RailAmerica as a corporate Director for their rail traffic control center.
