Erik Apple (born August 26, 1977) grew up in South Orange County, he skateboarded, surfed, and body-boarded before he started training MMA, he got a very serious injury riding bikes and some unfortunate circumstances with the injury he was unable to ride bikes anymore. So after a year and half of therapy he decided to check out Ruas Vale Tudo where many of his friends trained.

Erik is also working on TV and announcing. Its where the majority of his income is generated. He has hosted shows on CBS, NBC, ABC, Fuel Network, ESPN, and on pay-per-view. He host core sport shows like freestyle motocross, supercross, BMX, and so on. Erik is now training with his training partner Justin Levens under Ruas Vale Tudo Team.
