Craig Zellner was born in New Mexico, USA and fighting out of Albuquerque, NM, USA. Craig used to be a professional wrestler and has amateur background as well.

Craig Zellner started amateur boxing in 1996 , he also was a college football player. Craig left college football career in 1997 to train mixed martial arts, then he had put MMA training on hold to became a WWE professional wrestler, he resumed to mixed martial arts career again in 2004 and he has been focusing solely on MMA for a while now.
