Forrest Griffin is best known for being the first winner of the reality show, The Ultimate Fighter, which is touted as bringing MMA into the mainstream. Griffin also appeared as one of the coaches on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs Team Forrest, which aired on Spike TV. After the show, Griffin beat Quinton "Rampage" Jackson by unanimous decision, becoming the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. On December 27, 2008, Griffin lost his title to Rashad Evans by TKO.
