Allan Goes (born April 20, 1971 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He is currently fighting for the Seattle Tiger Sharks of the International Fight League.
He began training in mixed martial arts more than 12 years ago, to show the world that jiu-jitsu was the best fighting method. Weighing around 200 pounds, Goes has utilized those techniques, many of which he developed himself after 13 years of jiu-jitsu training, to bring down larger opponents.
Goes, a fifth-degree jiu-jitsu black belt and eight-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion, has won over 300 jiu-jitsu bouts in his career by his count, and lost just once.
Allan also runs the Allan Goes Jiu-Jitsu Systems in Aliso Viejo, California.
