Fighter Bio
Career
Andy "The Yellow Peril" Wang was born on May 28, 1977 in Kaoshiung Taiwan and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He currently fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) organization and trains with Egan Inoue under Grappling Unlimited team.
Andy Wang turned professional for fighting in 2000 during his senior year of college. He graduated and received a BA in History from University of Hawaii at Manoa. Andy was working as a high school World History and U.S. Government teacher and was pursuing a graduate degree in education at Cal State Dominguez Hills before he quit his academic pursuits temporarily to focus on his UFC matches. His 3 goals in his life are: becoming UFC champion, earning a doctorate degree in education, and landing a job as a school principal or administrator.
