"The Texas Crazy Horse" Heath Herring (born March 2, 1978 in Amarillo, Texas) is an American professional mixed martial artist who attained popularity fighting for PRIDE FC in Japan. He currently is a well known heavyweight contender in the UFC. His charismatic demeanor and devotion for exciting matches have seated him well with fans as one of the more popular professional Mixed Martial Artists in the sport.
Herring is an MMA fighter who is well versed in wrestling, sambo and muay thai. He has powerful knees and strong front kicks, as shown in his fight against Mark Kerr, where he attained his popularity as a forefront heavyweight contender in PRIDE FC. He currently lives in Las Vegas and trains at the Las Vegas Combat Club.
Herring is known for unique hairstyles and colors as well as wearing a cowboy hat and trench coat to the ring. His appearance is very popular among the Japanese crowd.
