I was reminiscing and thinking about older, maybe not too casually known wrestlers I enjoyed watching and Ernest “The Cat” Miller came to mind. I used to love his promos and “somebody call my mama!” catchphrase. Psychosis was one of my favorites too. I even went through a Glacier phase. Who were you guys’ favorites?

Big boss man was my first “favourite” wrestler as a kid.

Ricky Steamboat was also another guy I remember liking.

Then it was Bret Hart and I can’t remember much after that until the attitude era and honestly I don’t think I had a favourite, the whole shit was just awesome to me.

Raw was on on sky sports the Friday night after it aired in the US at 9pm here in the UK and my parents let me watch it in the living room every week.

Looking back I’m pretty sure they hated it but just saw how buzzed I was for it every week.

They let me watch the ppv’s too even though they aired from 12:00-3:00am over here and I had to be at school for 8am on the Monday morning.

I miss being excited about wrestling like that.

Corporal Kirchner was one of my favourites when I was younger. I've still got the LJN figure in a box somewhere I think.
