I am in the East Bay (I can travel across the bay) three nights a week with nothing to do. The gym I do train at when home does zero leg locks. I am starting to feel a void in my skill set, especially when doing open mats at other gyms. I would love to do some drop ins or even privates. I don't care about big names, I only care about quality, fundamental instruction. I know of 10th planet and may go there for privates but I really don't care much for no gi.

If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them. I will send some six deuce shirts to anyone that gives me a good place/instructor.

Reilly Bodycomb is in the bay area at bay jiu Jitsu. I trained with him for years and they don't get much better than him.

Not sure where you train at but I remember Rocha Jiu Jitsu in Oakland used to teach leg locks but that was a few years ago, and their partner gym Ralph gracie jiu jitsu (never took lessons there just observed a class about a month ago and they were ankle/leg locking away) I just started at performance fitness in Albany if they work on any leg locks I will advice take care.

Darren "Bone Crusher" Uyenoyama (Ralph BB) has FTCC in Daly City. He just got back from Virginia with Ryan Hall. Legs are a pretty big part of the Nogi curriculum at FTCC

Where are you located? Sean Nikmorad is the best in the Bay at IBJJF leglocks. He teaches at Cesar Gracie's in Pleasant Hill.He is an excellent teacher and competitor as well. If i were you, i'd hit him up for a Private.

Another guy that is very knowledgeable about leglocks(non IBJJF) is George Van Dyke. He is very technical and teaches very similarly to Ryan Hall in that he really gets into concepts. He teaches in Sonoma County buy would likely come closer for a private.

Finally, there is a guy at 10th Planet SF names George whos name I forgot. He is really knowledgeable.

I am really into leglocks and been to seminars put on by local Sambo guys and Reilly Bodycomb and honestly have been very disappointed.I've found that the guys above were really knowledgeable and have tested their knowledge in stiff competition.

Castro valley when I am there. Unfortunately my schedule has just changed and it is looking like privates or classes at spark bjj in Hayward will be my only choices.
