Peruvian Necktie with the Gi. Saw this technique preformed by Professor Toco de Nova Geração. Very sneaky choke to use against the Turtle position

Toco, is the man. He is the BJJ Peter Dinklage.

I learned this from him while at his academy in Rio.

I use that lapel to set up a clock choke which i like better because you don't sacrifice as much position... learned from Arthur Ruff

Very similar to judoka Gerbi the choke she used in 2013. 2014 they banned the choke because they determined she used her own lapel to choke her opponent. It was borderline on the rule you which says you can't wrap your own gi around the neck of the opponent. You can use the opponents gi though.

In all fairness, that's how I came to know this choke before Gerbi.
