I will forever be loyal to my Buck 112 as an EDC. Have had one in my pocket everyday since I can remember just about.

What are the pocket clips like on these knives? I wear dress pants and the tight clips wear out my pockets rather quickly. I used to love the original run of Cold Steel Voyagers because they had the molded Zytel clips. Looked like a pager to most people and don't damage my clothes.

I had to stop carrying at my last job because the metal clips caught too much HR attention. New job is less sensitive, though I do wonder what's the legality of things in China. Phone Post 3.0

For pocket clips that wont wear out dress pants or break...

Carbon fiber! You can add your own for relatively cheap as well with a hand drill and a screwdriver. Phone Post 3.0

TommyRSU - Some dope looking knives for sure. Always used a simple shitty Kershaw. Thanks for dropping knowledge guys. Phone Post 3.0
Even simple kershaw models are damn fine knives. Kershaws qc with their heat treating is spot on. Same with benchmade. Phone Post 3.0

Cletus Redpecker III - Hold the fuck on.

If you're considering Gold Class Benchmades, there's a whole 'nother class of knives we're talking about at those price points.
What he said.. I'd seriously consider the Chris Reeves small sebenza. For the price and quality I also agree that the benchmade 940 is great and what I carry almost everyday.

many anchovies - wow, sreiter...that's the exact configuration i had, minus the black blade.

i ordered the sebenza 25 last night, but if for some reason i don't like it or if i still have an itch for the stryker, i'll def let you know.
That 25 is amazing knife.
Bigger than I want for EDC but I'll own one anyway
I hope they make a small 25 one day Phone Post 3.0

Just want to reiterate how much I hate Many Anchovies.

Just strolls in and asks us knife fellas what's a good knife. We get to chatting and the Sebenza comes up and this guy just ups and buys one.

I say that with the utmost love and respect to a classic OG brother! Phone Post 3.0

OP,

Did you order from CRK direct or go through an authorized retailer? You'll love the 25.

I ordered mine direct and took over 3 months. I could have, and should have, ordered from a retailer. Would have had within 1-2 weeks ha. And got free shipping Phone Post 3.0

Thanks. I removed the lanyard. I used it a ton this past weekend for food prep at a BBQ competition. I diced 4.5lbs of habanero, skinned tomatoes, trimmed ribs, etc

Love this knife. Perfect size for EDC in pocket and being usable Phone Post 3.0

yup - portland -

they do it "around" thanksgiving-ish... kinda like xmas sale.

"like" their facebook page to keep informed... they do it every year. lines are fucking long, so be prepared to get there early, or wait a while...this past year it was in the teens, so i said fuck waiting outside in the cold.

1st responders have their own line, so be aware you might get into the wrong line...double check. Heard one guy waited a few hours to find out he was in 1st responders line, and had to get in the back of the "normal folks" line

think how much you'd hate him if he bought the CHRIS REEVE New Large Sebenza 25 Prototype With S35VN ...$2,650.00.

Lol indeed sreiter!

Oh and I looked up the Kai sale and saw the lines in some pictures. Still sounds like a good excuse to head over to Portland for a day. Only about 3 hours from Central Oregon, weather permitting. Too bad it's essentially a year away :-\ Phone Post 3.0
