"By that logic why do you keep trying to claim Silva who hasn't fought in Pride but one time since 2003?" Silva's greatest challenges have been in Pride. The only ring in which he failed to achieved great success was in the Pride ring, due to his kryptonite being undersized, mid-level japanese grapplers. Silva represents a benchmark for the skill level of fighters representing Pride fc. Henderson a superior Pride fighter, will also reinforce this benchmark by beating Silva for the MW title. With great changes, come great struggles. Some fighters who have rarely if ever fought in the cage like nog, crocop, shogun have had a hard time adjusting. With a few tweaks in their game, they will be on top in their rightful place. There is no doubt in my mind that Pride had the best fighters except for the WW division, a division pride did not have. This only made sense because for the longest time Pride paid more money and rewarded its fighters better. With nearly 20% of the japanese watching Pride on NYE, in the world's 2nd largest economy, it only makes sense that the best fighters go the orgs that compensate the most.
