Anybody remember anything more one sided than Jones v Sonnen? In boxing maybe?

Also, my crystal ball sees Sonnen retiring and doing the tv thing after this one. One last payday. Phone Post

LOL at Sonnen/Jones being a mismatch. Sonnen laid a beating on Anderson Silva for 28 of the 30 minutes they fought. Are you implying that Jones is significantly better than the universally recognized #1 pound for pound fighter in the world (Silva). Phone Post 3.0

This isn't that big of a mismatch, Chael's got the wrestling and boxing to make this super competitive. Phone Post 3.0

The Maia who fought Anderson was insanely overmatched. The Maia now who sticks with a solid game plan and fights to his strengths is who needed to show up.

Chareth Cutestory - Arlovski vs Eilers

The odds for this weren't too lopsided. And at least Eilers had a punchers chance.

Franklin-Quarry is the one that always comes to mind for me.

Although, Wandy has some ridiculous squash matches from his Pride days, too.

awha?!

You really think Rampage was better when he fought Jones than Chael is right now?

We're seeing Rashad lose to an old Lil Nog. Shogun is 2-2 since Jones and Vera was a tough fight for him. Rampage hasn't had an impressive performance since 2008 and is 3-4 since then, with the wins being decisions over Jardine and Hammil and the fight Machida should have won. I don't think Vitor is as good as Chael.

I just don't see the big difference between them other than that Chael doesn't have the win streak or "former champion" in his name. Jones would probably own everybody in his division, I don't see why Chael is a bigger mismatch than anyone else who's at 205 now. Phone Post

The fuck? The Pride and UFC champ - that Rampage? Phone Post 3.0
My point being Rampage was way passed his prime at that stage of his career. If Jones were fighting Tito or Chuck this weekend do you think it would be less of a mismatch because they're former champs? Phone Post

^ because guys like Rampage and Vitor have proven track records of KO'ing people. If your only real shot is to hold Jones down for the majority of 5 rounds without getting KO'd or subbed, you have less of a chance.
