Bowles tests positive for elevated T/E ratio

Former WEC champion Brian Bowles has tested positive for an elevated testosterone to epitosterone rating, according to an e-mail sent from Keith Kizer of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Bowles was tested after his May 25th loss to George Roop.

Actually a recurring injury problem is sometimes a symptom of steroid use itself.  When these guys roid, their musclular gains outpace the gains of their connective tissue.  Whereas their ligaments, tendons and bones wouldn't have lagged behind without PED's, now they aren't as strong as they should be for the strength of the muscle.

He breaks his hands every time he picks his nose so maybe it helps? Or maybe he hits harder and its a detriment to his hands? Phone Post 3.0

I've always thought getting off roids was what could cause being injury prone, not while you are actually taking them. And that was why we saw so many of those baseball players continuing to get better every year even in their mid-late 30's. Phone Post
