"No. Back then they didn't have strength training like they do now. I would out power him"

Bruce Lee was not a big guy, but he was very strong for his size. Underestimating him would be a big mistake.

lol to anyone who says yes, you'd have to lay your hands on the guy first to out power him. An I just dont see that happening. People who think just cuz they have some muscles they can fight crack me up.

I think the answer is pretty much yes he could kick the ass of this entire forum in a street fight. By all accounts, his striking was Anderson Silva-like, and he trained his mind and body like no other.

Guys... Come on he was like 135 lbs. I love Bruce... But this isn't the 70's "I know Karate era".

He was an innovator but I'm pretty sure I got this. Phone Post

15 minutes of lay and pray and a 60lb. weight advantage says no.

The fight would go like this:

1. Ref says "Let's get it crackin'"

2. I say "Excuse me Mr. Lee, can I take a pic....."

3. I sleep

He was one of the first traditional martial artists (to my knowledge) that implemented a separate strength and conditioning program (involving things like free-weights, cable machines, etc.) to complement his fighting training. Would he last in a MMA event against an elite MMA fighter in his weight class...probably not. Could he still make a good showing against a sizable segment of the population that train functional martial arts...never mind those who haven't trained. Sure. Would he have taken on anyone, just for the learning experience, especially in a sanctioned MMA bout. You bet.

A man who has no fights on record was 125lb 5-2" high

Am I crazy to think a 6-2 230lb man with reasonable wrestling would smash bruce easily??
