Awesome! I seem to remember him bringing this trainer and Lamnamoon to Montreal for the Condit camp. Love watching him on the pads.

He has out-struck everyone he has fought....

As an aside, I see he still has a lot of work to do with that spinning back kick....

I don't think their is anyone in MMA more committed to continuous improvement than GSP.

Seems like one the the only fighters who is ALWAYS training, skill building, and working on getting better at everything.

Even when he dosn't have a fight scheduled his is working, working, working...

GSP is awesome! There isn't another champ in the ufc that has defended his title against top 3 contenders and beat them in every round. You can rag on the guy for not finishing fights but no one has fought top 3 fighters consistently and beat their ass for 5 rounds. That dude is battle hardened and ready to scrap. Phone Post 3.0

To add to this, GSP has the most significant strikes landed in the UFC.

Not too shabby for a so called blanket.

Also, he hammered Jake Shields with that spinning back kick. If i recall correctly that was the fight preceding the video that came out of Rogan showing him the proper technique.

Wicked smahtMF - lol @ UGers BSing about GSP "outstriking" and "most sig strikes" like George is anything close to the upper echelon of mma striking! Why does george take guys trying to bang with him down then? Why does George throw virtually ZERO combinations? gtfoh naive nut huggers

lol @ rating someone's skill as a "striker" based on whether or not they want to stand and bang like Chris Leben. GSP is absolutely in the HIGHEST echelon of mma striking, and has proved this by out-striking Penn, Diaz, Thiago Alves, etc. His style is evasive by nature, but never think that just because he doesn't prefer to plod forward throwing combinations of haymakers that he is anything but a ninja-level striker.

I feel like GSP should be able to put a lot more power behind his strikes, especially his kicks.

The trainer is using pads for a reason...HIT THOSE THINGS!!! When you spar is when you hold back more Phone Post 3.0

A little messed up to judge his power based on such a short vid. What if he had been training all day and he's nearing the end of his workout? Phone Post

Anderson is also always training. That's the difference between martial artists like GSP and Anderson, and fighters like Rampage who did nothing until they had a fight booked...
