Iaquinta also withdraws from UFC 159

Earlier this week, UFC lightweight Joe Proctor withdrew from UFC 159 at the end of the month due to an undisclosed injury. Proctor was scheduled to compete at Team Serra's Al Iaquinta, a fighter he shared twelve weeks in a house with during the live season of the Ultimate Fighter.

Today, Iaquinta revelaed he would also be withdrawing from the event:

Al Iaquinta, a former runner-up on The Ultimate Fighter, has decided to remove himself from April's UFC 159: Jones Vs. Sonnen card, just a day after Joe Proctor pulled out of their planned fight with an injury.

"I have been training through an injury to my leg the past six weeks, re-injuring it again a little more seriously last Saturday," said Iaquinta, in an interview with FightLine Thursday. "I was going to push through it and fight anyway. When I heard Joe pulled out, I decided not to fight at UFC 159 and rehab my injury back to 100-percent before taking another fight."

What's the odds... just happened with C.B. Dollaway vs. Cezar Ferreira, one fighter gets injured, then the other pulls out, crazy.

Sorry for my ignorance, but who is Newell? Was that the undefeated fighter with one arm?
