I remember he was getting paid in straight Bitcoin a couple years back, was he smart and saved some? I bought some bitcoin when it was only $300 and it was the best "accidental investment" I have ever done so I could just imagine how much bank Fitch could of rolled in depending on if he spent it or not.

There are a lot of accidental millionaires around right now because of this.

I have a friend, a guy who is(was?!?) a network admin, good paying job. He was running half a dozen bitcoin miner in his garage, maybe more, in 2010, when he could mine a couple hundred coins a day.

Guess what, he never sold them, or if he did, he sold very few in the last few years as the value started to climb.

He was an old online video game buddy from back in the 90's, who is now probably one of the richest people I've ever known IRL, if not the richest. Kinda depressing to think I didn't do it myself!

All depends if he cashed out, or if he smart enough to be a HODLer.

I’m depressed that I knew about Bitcoin(at least 5 year) for so long and never bought one

Amen Furiuos....amen.  I should have kept mind instead of spending them on Silkroad!  I had my wallet with the Mt Gox exchange and they went under anyway so maybe it doesn't matter...
