I'm thinking this year will be around 250-450k buys per PPV, no matter how stacked it may be. Phone Post 3.0

Seems like a pretty solid number for a card with no proven PPV headliners on it.

Good news for bellator. Anything close to that will be a huge success. Phone Post 3.0

These numbers are terrible. I think the last GSP card was the only card to break past the 350k mark. People should've tuned in to see who the new intended was going to be. Hendricks isn't a nobody. Phone Post 3.0

Hendricks can sell a million ppv"s, he just needs to be fighting George.
I had a feeling this one wouldn't sell big when everyone I was with had no idea who Hendricks or lawler were. Phone Post 3.0

Except for that card right after 167 that did 1 million buys.

Nucky - UFC is missing a champion or legit challenger that talks a little shit. Coleman, Ortiz, BJ penn, Brock lesnar,Nick Diaz all talked little shit and backed it up and sold major PPv's. Now we have 50 Brazilians who speak little to no english and its hard for Casuals to get interested enough to pay for PPv's. The only one that really sold PPv's that didn't talk shit was GSP but that is because he was riding undefeated streaks and he was blonde white guy who the casuals and canucks could related to.

UFC only has 2 Brazilian champs. The rest are American split between black guys, white people and a pseudo mexicain.

This article gives a pretty good breakdown of the ppv buyrates even if some stars have changed.

I enjoy Bellator but I will be shocked if they break 50K with their PPV.

Good thing Dana and Co. spent all their resources pushing The Ronda.
