How do you trane?
I have been training in the MA since i was 10 years old. been running full time clubs for the last 12 years. i trane(d) every day mostly twice a day for many years.
I am now 44yrs young, i dont look anywhere near my age, but GOD i feel it.... more and more with every passing day.
I know most people dont respect TMA's but as a background, I hold a 4h Degree BB in Kempo Karate-Jitsu and our style combines all aspects of fighting, we spar pretty full on and wear a Gi, Mouth guard and MMA gloves, and that's it.. our system combines all aspects of stand up and ground (a bit like MMA in a gi)
now i dont claim to teach BJJ or hold a BB in BJJ so don't get excited, but i DO also take part in Grappling various sessions, both Gi and No-Gi
lately (the last 3 -4 year) i am finding it harder and harder to keep up with the younger Black belts, and regularly feel like SHIT after some hard training..
wanted to know if any older guys have any secrets to keeping age at bay that could help? as i dont know how long i can keep this up?
obviously the answer would be to JUST coach - but the thought of not join in the training makes me sad
(sorry for the FRAT)
