This. Not exactly perfect omaplata, but I'm sure Eddie bravo has a crazy cooky pot related term for the variation... Phone Post

The submission on the arm itself looks like the kind of keylock/Americana, but from the Omoplata position...

Weird.... And the grip on the guys head that twister style is even weirder...

Yeah the grip on the head was interesting. Seemed to stop the opponent from being able to lean away and relieve pressure.

What would Eddie Bravo call this? :-) Phone Post

Wow I didn't even notice the neck crank at first.  That was pretty bad ass.

It's an Omaplata. Locking the hands across the face for the finish isn't really used in jiu-jitsu because its considered dick and with the gi on you can grab the collar instead, but what that does is keep him from somersaulting or barrel rolling in order to relieve pressure on his shoulder. It not really intended to be a neck crank, the submission is still really all in the shoulder. Phone Post

It's an omoplata crossface. I've been using this forever.
Now Daniel Bryan uses it in WWE.

Can't see the video from my phone but what you guys are describing sounds like something I have heard Eddie refer to as "the Imanari" or "the Lebell Lock." Phone Post 3.0

If it was a twisterplata it would look more like a rings of Saturn.

This move is to the crippler crossface as the twisterplata is to the rings of Saturn. The difference being that the crippler crossface and rings of Saturn use just a leg scissor on the arm, while these use an omoplata on the arm and shoulder. You get much more control with the omoplata.

This. People are confused because the guy on bottom doesn't situp. The neckcrank is allowing him to apply pressure to the shoulder.
