who ever said insulin was a precursor to testosterone is a fool! get your facts straight before posting stuff like that.
Secondly yeah milk is actually a very good inexpensive food post exercise. It scores high on the insulin index of foods and although not ideal as 80% of the protein is casein based, milk is a good substitute for those on a budget or for younger athletes getting the principles of pre and post w/o nutrition down.
I use to be a huge sucker for the pre and post workout .... Whey this whey that , casein this casein that, mixed in with the right ratios of dex and malto etc.......do some research and you will find that Milk is almost perfect in this regard.
