You are naive if you think all the aforementioned fighters dont have agents. That pic of Vince and me is photo shopped. |

oh i know fighters have agents, but the top tier fighters are represented and handled by their promotions. For instance, chuck, gsp, hughes, serra, couture etc their PR is handled by the UFC. that is why ufc is suing randy. also, how did tito get on the apprentice, it wasn't his agent, it was lorenzo telling trump personally that tito would make a great addition to the show. I am just trying to support tj in his comment of why you represent fightes with losing records, its because your fighters aren't seen as stable enough to be supported by the ufc or their promotion. |

They all have agents. And that is not why Randy is being sued, it is actually has nothing to do with the lawsuit. Stop just making up things and representing them as fact. |

Pav is correct on this issue (though still ducking T-Jay). Couture in fact was one of the very first to explicity challenge the UFC, and to retain his marketing and likeness rights (smart man). |

So... Shannon is challenging Pav to fight? Is this some desperate attempt to get a win? IMO, it would be an unsuccessful outting. |

Yeah, they all have agents in some form, but the big name's careers are handled mostly by the promotion they work for. Most of the agents so far in mma do not have the connections, but when the money gets good the real agents from CAA will enter. randy is going to get sued for a number of things. ufc is going to get that xtreme couture brand in the end. i forgot the lawyers name that zuffa is using in the randy case, but that guy is one the best in the industry. I honestly, thought zuffa was just using this guy to put pressure on randy to settle or comeback and fulfill his contract, but that didn't work out. Now randy is going against zuffa who has plenty of money to stretch out this court battle and randy's legal fees are going to just go up until he can't afford it anymore and will have to settle. Either way, i hope randy knows what he is getting himself into |

you'd think KOTC and Tapout would hire Hotlanta to kid nap Shannon, and use wrecking balm or hell a belt sander to remove their logo's from Shannon's body. |

^^^ [danablack] Do you still honestly believe this is simply Zuffa v. Randy Couture? (here is a hint, Cuban filed a declaratory action himself). |

good thing declaratory action was filed, but i don't care whoever is helping out randy. if these people are not giving him millions of dollars out of their pocket to fight the case it won't matter. Also, cuban is a joke especially in the silicon valley, no one takes him seriously. |

Question: who is the manager's manager? Mace, are you making a play to be Pav's agent? |

gardner D: i don't sleep, but i have advice for pav. you better build some kind of competitive advantage because if ufc fighters start making big money the big agencies are going to take all your clients away. |

gardner D: i don't sleep, but i have advice for pav. you better build some kind of competitive advantage because if ufc fighters start making big money the big agencies are going to take all your clients away." there might be truth to that satement, but thats not what you have been saying. You said the big name winning fighters dont need agents/managers. |

The origninal post was to support TJ's rant of why pav represents fighters that have losing records and I gave a justification for it. i can write a 10 page paper on why the smaller named mma fighters need agents and why the bigger names currently do not. maybe that would be a good article to write for one of those mma magazine contests. |
