fuck! Okay, the positive is that I only wagered my earnings from the last 1.5 months. I'll be even for the year! I can't fuckin believe this!!!!
Seriously, who would have seen this coming? He outstruck JDS and overhanded the shit out of him. Cain went nuts the first minute and Junior was fine. Then Cain started diving for a double. I'm like, sweet. Okay. Then Cain went on Terminator mode. Junior can't recover. Cain can beat him up at will for the next four rounds. An armbar??
Wait, I'm up a hundy with Varner. Maybe Cain will tire. |

JDS can't hold his hands up. I haven't seen somebody this helpless since Rothwell when he fought Cain. |

Brazos need to give JDS some heroine STAT! I don't give a shit, do something besides "yous got to keep your hands up. You got to keep your hands up." True, but fuck man, give him some strategy. It kills me when I'm losing big and the corner gives no specific direction. |

I wish I could say that I jinxed JDS, but I think he may have been a little overconfident. Dude drops his hands and moves straight back and that's when Cain just throws a regular overhand right. No fucking way JDS should have lost this fight. Boys, my butthole feels like it just got raped by Simon Adebisi himself. |

burner22 - I noticed Cain is at plus $7.10 to win by sub or points. Plus 9 to win by points. Might hedge with one of those.no chance he KO s junior.Thank fuck I hedged. Ended up about even on the whole debacle. What the fuck was up with junior? Even before the big right hand landed he looked like he gassed out about halfway thru the first round. Woeful. Can't believe lauzon didn't try for more TD s either. Definitely had miller on the ground. Jesus

Damn nice hedge burner. People are saying in other threads he wasn't gassed before the big overhand. That's horse shit, he was breathing with his mouth open after the onslaught of takedown attempts and that was about 2 minutes in. Even though Cain wasn't completing them, he made JDS tired from having to get up. Then he got JDS so tunnel-visioned on the takedown, he landed his shots. Honestly, mad props to Vasquez and crew for the gameplan and Cain for pushing it. Soooo many dudes have gone in, tried a takedown, get it stuffed, and then give up or just shoot doubles from 3-4 feet away. Mir did that. Gonzaga did that. Like, I shot, it got defended, oh well, let me stand and bang. We got bit by overconfidence, yes-men in JDS's crew, and a good Cain gameplan. |

BrCutter -It really was strange. Can't take anything away from Cain though, although he couldn't finish JDS who was out on his feet for 15 minutes, he put on a great performance and did what he had to do to get that belt back. What is the next event? Bisping v Vitor or Aldo v Edgar? I should stay away from both main events but I'll probably end up betting on them.

yyyyouch! lots of bad picks, the last 3-4 pages. I feel bad for you guys, but live and learn, eh ? fortunately I learned from my previous mistakes, about putting too much money on a fighter, so only lost about half my parlays, with JDS. I'm glad I didn't get caught up in the Belcher hype, and regret getting caught up in the JDS hype. I gotta listen to myself more: I repeatedly said to myself : "JDS worries me, the way he keeps his hands so low," and "I like the way Cain flows from one technique into another, and uses trips. most HWs don't have such technical flow." after the fact, I was impressed with his endurance and use of leg rides. I fortunately also made a few insurance parlays with Cain and picks from the next 2 UFC cards (Vitor, Mighty Mouse, Rampage, Cerrone...) I'm glad I seem to be learning from my mistakes. that trick seems to work : little insurance parlays with the high-paying underdogs of the fighters I use most. for instance, when I got utterly fleeced with Franklin getting KOed, I'd also made a little parlay with Cung+Rory+Bendo+Gustafsson, so I didn't go completely broke. now I have buyer's remorse, with Teixeira. at around -285, he looks like more of liability than anything else. Maldonado had him stuttering with a shot or two, and I think Rampage could easily do the same and capitalize. Vitor looks like a bargain, at almost even money. I wouldn't bet on a finish, cause I don't think Bisping really has a weak chin. but can Bisping really stay out trouble and not get TKOd or beat on for 3 rounds ? Vitor sounds like the most solid pick since Lombard and Pearson, who did well for me. unfortunately all my wagering money is tied up in the next 2 events. |

The rampage, Edgar and vitor odds are all off. All worth further examination.

NorthFromHere -Olive Garden Table For One - The rampage, Edgar and vitor odds are all off. All worth further examination. That's sound advice. If Rampage is all guy, no arms, he's there for one last payday. If he looks fit, Glo-Tex's train might get derailed. |

holy fuck i got blasted by Belcher. Pissed me off when he hit the sweep, got top control, and went immediately for a desperate guillotine, instead of staying on top and g&p or ride out on top control and steal the round. He made the same mistake 2 or 3 times. Regarding Rampage mentioned in the last posts...there are some rumors (from Chael Sonnen's twitter) that Rampage is pulling out of the fight with Tex, again. |

I was impressed with how Belcher 3 times fell into top position off Okami's takedowns, Okami, who's what a Judo Black belt, who are reknowned for their hips ? even to the point I was rooting for Okami to NOT takedown Belcher anymore, just push him into the fence. Belcher's hips have potential for sure. |
