I am trying to get high res scans for each of these vintage Pride posters. 600 DPI would be ideal. File size is obviously massive, so would have to be sent via yousendit. By hi res I don't mean hi res for the net, I need a scan of the whole poster. Licenses have been acquired for the intended final use, so there is no copyright violation. Five year blue name for the first person to come through, plus more. ![]() ![]() |

Sorry Kirik, but I seriously hope no one that has those posters would be stupid enough to create high res images of them. There are already enough decent Pride posters floating around with fakes. These two are among the holy grails and would cause a huge problem if they were faked as well. |

The company looking for the scan has secured necessary licensing from ZUFFA. Can go straight to them without anyone having the scan, including me. |

Which company is it and what are they going to be doing with the pics? As someone who has been screwed out of hundreds of dollars on a fake poster more than once this is a scary thread. |

I never knew these posters were worth so much. Had many opportunities to buy them in Japan. |

The use is for apparel. I don't know if the company wants to public about it, but I will share the contact info with the providing source. You have my word it is a 100% legit company. |

Yea, the Pride 10 in B2 is $500 poster in mint condition and the Butterfly in B2 is $400+. This was a different story 5-6 years ago, but they are quite valuable. You might enjoy some of my pics: http://s1059.photobucket.com/albums/t431/nietslaf/?start=all |

I think you are right Lloyd. They were selling a cool shirt with the image of Saku jump punching Royce from the 2000 GP at the Boston UFC expo a couple years ago. |

As a collector this thread is extremely disturbing. |

Tell them to buy the fucking posters online and do it themselves. No collector would voluntarily help out unless there was something big in it for them... 5 years of a blue name is not "big" |

grkblood - As a collector this thread is extremely disturbing. I am not a collector, and get that there is some concern, but not sure why? Is the worry that a collector once asked by me to do is will then get the idea? Or that I will be the one copying them? Or that the apparel company will? If anyone could fill me in, I could be grateful. |

I would imagine it is that if people get high res versions and can make their own print outs, the collectors won't be able to charge 400$ a poster then |

There is already a tremendous problem with people in Germany, California and Canada making reproductions of PRIDE and UFC posters which are specifically rare, then leaking them on eBay, and through collectors, to rip people off. No one who has these $400+ posters, would likely participate in anything that could potentially kill the value as well as partake in the introduction of counterfeits into the market. |

Don't Trust Anyone It's usually employees responsible for leaks to begin with. |

How about the licensee spends $1k for the posters and then make their own scans? |
