I don't know the details, but I made a thread about how "Rousey vs. Tate" would have been a much better fight. Two pretty girls who can fight...it would have been awesome! |

ShaqNoob -CindyO -Leg looks too feminine.SickEyeDiaz - True, and not nearly as hairy as I would imagine with having a year off. Look at that dainty ankle... |

Well, looks like Dana may be caught in yet another lie. When responding to a twitter follower today, he said the following:Michael Noone ?@menoone71 I thought he said he asked other female fighters to fight Ronda? Now, two women have come forward and say they were never asked to fight Ronda. |

When did he specifically say we offered the fight to Tate? Tate also publicly said after her last fight she didnt want Ronda next. McMann and her team said the same thing that they would like another fight first. Also Dana isnt the one calling these fighters Joe Silva is. |

The problem is all of these women know that fighting in the UFC is going to be a 1 time deal if they lose so they are in no hurry to be fighting if they're less than 100 percent. So Dana is right, they are turning down fights but the are doing it to try and protect their 1 shot. The problem is that they are treating this like they will get another chance. I don't think that is necessarily the case. For Meisha, it's like bitch you got smashed in 3 minutes no one's kicking down Joe Silva's door in order to see you fight her again. For me, seeing her fight Ronda again is right up there with wanting to watch Silva v. Griffin II.

I am not a Dana hater at all but he was obviously misinformed on this one.
Tate refused a fight but she refused the Roussey fight because she was never offered this particulair fight. It seems like Mcman was not offered it either. Sorry but it just makes good business sense to put Rhonda against someone in the cage who is hardly a threath at all. I have a lot of respect for Charmouche but she is ranked fucking 7th in her division. Its obvious the serving her up to Rhonda so she can build a name for the bigger audience. They should have offered it to Coenen though. She beat Carmouche and would at least pose some threath to Roussey.
It clear favoritism for Roussey and even though she is extremely skilled this kind of thing is slightly off putting to say the least. |

fightharder - This. Marloes Coenen, Alexis Davis and Sara McMann make more sense at this point, and the three of them have a great ground game. They would make the fight competitive to Rousey. Don't get me wrong: Carmouche is fantastic, but I think she is the safer fight for Rousey. On a side note, I think Coenen is the superior fighter to Rousey, but, at 135 lbs, Ronda would win thanks to a great strength advantage and to her speed. Marloes also was being taken down time and again by Cindy Dandois (Belgian Judo Champion), so, Ronda would have no problem taking her down at 135 lbs. At 145 lbs., that would be another story. As to Cyborg, it might take months till she makes 135 lbs. in a healthy manner. I am not sure if losing weight is a good move for her. She certainly wouldn't be able to fight more than once or twice a year, and we don't know how that will affect her. |

Not really sure why it would've been offered anyway. She got mauled.
