JakodaRay - If she loses Dana takes a piss in a cup and hands it to the commission saying that it's from Carmouche. Carmouche gets busted for 30 types of steroids, sildenafil, painkillers, xanax and the urine being inconsistent with human urine. Ronda is given her belt back.Lol

I think she will win in a big way. And personally I think Tito getting cryborg to wait til after this fight and then fight the winner was a smart move. It strengthens the Emma div for the ufc by having the super fight AFTER the star is revealed and gives his client a chance to steal all that thunder and the ufc gets at least another female fight that will draw big. This thing is gunna get legs unless Honda loses to cryborg and leaves the game. But with an 8 fight contract its unlikely.

Um, I was going to say that the stuff about working with Invicta as the steward of WMMA until it's more popular was the best option, but they still have a beast in Cyborg. Sic Cyborg on Carmouche, hope Cyborg wins and looks like a monster, and then just do pro-wrestling style heel-face booking with building up suitable challengers to rally behind, until someone can take out Cyborg. Or more likely Rousey gets a rematch like someone else said, and if she doesn't get her belt back, then Tate gets a #1 contender's match against whoever they feel is the best combination of credible + marketable (possibly Sara McMann or Amanda Nunes), winner gets Carmouche. If Carmouche is still somehow champion at BW, then she gets "transferred" to Invicta whether Zuffa owns Invicta at that point or not. With only one division right now, and this being a bit of an experiment, I don't think the UFC is going to keep WMMA around for long if they get a not-very-marketable champion and can't unseat her. They'll get a bit of mileage out of Carmouche being openly gay but in the long run she is not a draw, and they don't have multiple womens divisions to balance things (Womens Flyweight is plenty deep and Miesha Tate is right about the UFC putting too many eggs in the Rousey basket, even if she seems unstoppable right now). So, yeah, I do hope they get beyond this stage. The UFC needs at least a dozen or so women to create a viable division and they don't really seem to be trying for that yet. |

On the contrary. I think it would be good. This only proves that there actually IS competition in this division and that directly makes the fights more interesting IMO. I am sure Dana would disagree, he needs a face outwards and Ronda is perfect for that. |
