I hope he is only sick.. but everything including DFW makes it sound like it's something else. I imagine DFW would have just said something like "Goldie is sick and hoping to be back as soon as possible" at the Media scrum.. rather than "Mike Goldberg is out for a while and I don't know when he'll be back next question!" |

Crw - Didn't Joe mention on a recent pod cast one of his good friends was addicted to prescription drugs ? He mentioned it had started to change his personality . Hopefully it's not Goldie . Shit man, I 've never considered that. But I know from personal experience that being heavily addicted to that shit will make you loose a shit ton weight and not in a healthy way...Goldie has seemed to have that kind of look in his eyes lately too. Any heavy opiate addict and or people around then will know it when they see it...I swear there have been times when it look like Goldie was about to take a nod... again, the eyes of an opiate addict...The way he talks lately...and definitely that shriveled appearance that he has.. Wow, I never really thought of this before...but perhaps, he is now in a detox program....Withdrawing from opiates is a long and dreadful thing... If this is the case i hope for the best....We would know because whrn he is back, you will notice he filled out again (not all shrively and dopey looking) and has that natural happy glow and smile. |

Billy Joe Rottoncrotch - Jon Anik fucking sucked last night imo. "Rogan literally did about 90% of the work"... you just described every rogan/goldberg commentary ever. Joe does the play by play, is the knowledge guy, AND does the color commentary. All Goldberg does is spout cliches and plugs the sponsors. |

Anik did better than Goldie but at time Anik would let Rogan carry the entire fight. I mean i didn't hear him once during JDS-Cain from what i can remember. Hope they try out Kenny next for the FOX card or havbe someone like Mir or Sonnen come in |

I bet it's over pay and they're trying to play hardball. Last time his contract was an issue was when WWE tried to steal him and Zuffa threw the bank at him and paid him big $$$$, guessing they must be trying to bring it back down being that it's probably contract re-negotiation time. Once a contract is in place, he can return, otherwise he's on the sidelines waiting. Speculation of course. |
