Been away for the weekend at Port Stephens (3 hours north of Sydney) and not been posting, competed in a gamefishing tournament and placed tenth with two Blue Marlin tagged and released (240lb and 300lb) and a 65lb Spearfish. Couple grand in prizes :D

VTFU for 12'ers, I'm pretty happy right now!!
How do you tag them , just curious...

We use a pole with a special aplicator head on the end of it. You basically slide the tag over the applicator and use a rubber band to keep it in place. When the fish comes up, you put the applicator with tag against the fish's side and give it a little push. The tag gets lodged just beneath it's skin.

I'll PM you a link to some of my footage and you will see what I'm getting at lol

Well, I have read threads from longer-serving members where they've said things like 'Remember when we used to say 08'ers gunna 08??'

As long as someone has been a member here longer than you, they'll still use it. Unless you become a mod or you're DamnSevern lol.

Although I saw a 13'er call out a 12'er on their join date not too long ago...there's a lot of terrible 13'ers this year.
