If there weren't actual videos of him, I'd think his new website was fake. I thought he was a little weird when I met him and emailed with him, but never got the feeling he was crazy. His friends that cornered him for the fight were normal. I talked with one of me and said something like "so do you train with lee?" And he was like "no, I had no idea he even liked this stuff until he asked me to come out here with him to watch him fight." I got the feeling that he didn't realize how many of us were into mma, especially how big the local scene was. He came across like a weird uncle who was telling a story about Vietnam, or about how he threw a no hitter in high school, scored a game winning touchdown to win the state championship etc...I don't think he ever expected to get kicked in the face and pounded out, and never expected so many people to read the bullshit he emailed me...and wen he did the interviews with guido, he thought he was helping a kid with a high school project. He seemed harmless. I'm shocked that he's still making websites and posting stuff about how mass sucks etc. |
