Josh has been in the sport for 15 years and has had 44 fights against some of the greatest fighters ever. Why would the topic of gimmes even come up? You guys think he needs more fights to mature or prepare?
Of course not. I brought it up because for a guy with his credentials that was a gimme fight. I'm just stating that if/when he makes his return to the octagon, it won't be like that.

Against the likes of Morecraft, Mitrione, Herman etc yes it will. Phone Post

It went from three title fights to let's just show off the best guys on the roster. And Healy's opponent was actually a tough kid fighting up a weight class... You have ignored this user.

Yea, I meant once he was mounted he wanted out. I think he intended to stay in the fight as long as he could avoid getting mounted.

Oh yeah, definitely. I think there was a sort of resignation with the match making on this card. They just didn't care too much, andd probably wanted give paydays to Josh and Cormier to say thanks. BLAF should throw Josh to the walves as he'd want it no other way. I don't think Josh would win a belt, but he'd definitely shake up the division and give us some entertaining fights. Phone Post
