Wasn't it over a financial dispute regarding the split of Ryan's instructional videos? I read it on the UG before but I can't search for it with a mud name. IIRC, Ryan an Lloyd were supposed to split the profits right down the middle but, Lloyd took the bigger piece of the pie and Ryan split. It was suggested that was the inspiration for the name 50/50 BJJ. If a blue namer could find the link.... I can't remember what actually came out of it.

^I think the inspiration for his gym name, Fifty50, comes from him being really good with that position.

^thats what I thought but, then I heard that it was really about the money split with Lloyd. Can't remember if that was something someone insinuated or if it had a factual source. Like I said, there is a thread here about it somewhere that a blue could search for.
