Real for a fact: Rolfing will also make you like an inch or an inch and a half taller after a few sessions. |

Man, Rolfing saved me, literally... I broke my neck about ten years ago and had chronic pain as a result, I had physical therapy with multiple people, acupuncture and saw a neurologist who said there was no nerve impingement but wanted to fuse my neck.. Ive been having rolfing quite a long time, I was taking cymbalta for 5 years to help with the pain, and came off muscle relaxants, pain killers and finally cymbalta. I couldnt press 10 lbs over my head, and 3 years ago could do a 20lb seated row, I now seated row over 200lbs. Picking a chair up could cause me intense pain, it was that bad. Anyway as time went on, my body became more and more out of alignment, and rolfing has really helped re-align myself. I trained martial arts all my life and when I got injured couldnt train anymore, Im back training in the gym, and am fighting in June. I also did soem courses to learn more about physical training, and really enjoy olympic lifting now. If Id listened to the doctors who basically said nothing would work, and wrote me off as not being able to make any further improvement id be f$%^ed. I must say Ive felt like giving up along the way, but havent. Although I have insurance, Ive paid rolfing out of pocket, and it builds up in cost, but I think its been worth it. It isnt comfortble and hurts like hell |

I'd really take advice from the professional who illustrates his point by using rape metaphors, especially in the middle of all this lloyd irvin crap |

Olive Garden Table For One - I occasionally lift with a guy who does get rolfing, and he actually did grow about 2", never mind he's 38. He does squat and deadlift regularly (400+ max on each), I have no idea if that factors in. |

The fact that Rolfing has a positive effect probably tells you that your back problem was there for some time. With a chronicle condition often there are secondary complaints in regions connected to the same neurologic levels in your spine. Rolfing might help you with these complaints, but be aware that the original problem (bulging disc?) might still be there. |

What is rolfing? I've had back problems for years that nobody has been able to fix, need some solutions.

+1 for Rolfing! Helped, along with prolotherapy, cure me of horrible elbow tendonosis from BJJ/Muay Thai/lifting. |
