Heel Hooker - He should fight Chael if Jones is able to win
Unbelievable
Chael loses to Anderson, beats Stann, gets a gift decision over Bisping, then another gift loss to Anderson, another gift fight with Jones, and then another gift with Vitor if he loses ?
What is wrong with this picture ? I feel like I'm on crazy pills. Ferrari ? Latigra ? Blue Steel ? |

sparkuri -yellow c0ckahlc -sparkuri - You're right, rankings have nothing to do with it. Therefore why the fuck would we wanna watch Vitor get KTFO again before seeing the manner in which this new crop is gonna get KTFO? |

Yeah, saying the greatest fighter of all time will knock out someone he already knocked out is clearly a troll. |

sparkuri -yellow c0ckahlc -sparkuri - I already took all of that into consideration before making my post, you don't need to tell me. Now, we HAVE to look at it from a rankings standpoint because of what the UFC just established: OFFICIAL RANKINGS. Has nothing to do with them "risking" another Vitor fight, you make it sound like they're afraid he'll dethrone Anderson. Zuffa simply doesn't want another rematch. They want fresh faces for Anderson to further establish his legacy, as does Anderson. Only reason Chael got the rematch was because of the money involved. Vitor got KO'ed with a front kick in the first round. That's a hard rematch to sell, rankings or no rankings. |

Honestly, Vitor had his chance already. Let him rack up 2-3 more dominant victories, then a rematch will sell. I don't believe for one second that he'll need more than that to another shot. |

TheMentalisT - lmao @ another 4-5 KO's. Is there even 4-5 relevant big name fighters in the MW division for Vitor to fight? Even funnier when you consider Bisping was in a no. 1 contender spot off of a decision of Brian Stann. |

If he beats Rockhold (which is the match that they are going to make) he's gonna get the shot. |

yellow c0ckahlc -sparkuri -yellow c0ckahlc -sparkuri - LOL THE ONLY REASON ANY MATCH HAPPENS IS MONEY THERE IS NO BIG MONEY IN WEIDMAN risk/reward/benefit
Is Stephan Bonnar a fresh face ? Yushin Okami ? They want money dude. And they would prefer more gift fights. Watch Rockhold get the shot. Just watch. |

RileyPust - If he beats Rockhold (which is the match that they are going to make) he's gonna get the shot. I know they don't want another Vitor rematch (not for the reason sparkboy posted above.) Weidman will most likely get it next, and if Vitor beats Rockhold, I'm willing to bet they give it to Lombard. |

sparkuri -yellow c0ckahlc -sparkuri -yellow c0ckahlc -sparkuri - Then by your logic, you telling me it should be Vitor/Anderson II right now is fucking laughable. Where's the money in that, pally? Bonnar and Okami were default options for Anderson, don't even get me started on that shit. It wasn't until now that the MW division is beginning to sort itself out.

yellow c0ckahlc -RileyPust - If he beats Rockhold (which is the match that they are going to make) he's gonna get the shot. Tell us why they won't give it to Vitor then. And since you're willing to bet, I'll bet you $50 Rockhold/Silva is next. Is it a bet yellowCock ? |

sparkuri -yellow c0ckahlc -RileyPust - If he beats Rockhold (which is the match that they are going to make) he's gonna get the shot. I literally just told you why. You need to read. Figure of speech, moran. With the UFC's unpredictable matchmaking, I'd be a fool to bet anything on the matter. |

yellow c0ckahlc -RileyPust - If he beats Rockhold (which is the match that they are going to make) he's gonna get the shot. I could see that being possible, they invested a lot of money into Lombard though. A win over Rousimar and Okami is far more difficult to market than wins over Bisping and the Strikeforce Champ. I just think that they want Rockhold to get the fight. Dana has already hinted at matching Luke and Vitor. If Luke wins, it's a champion vs champion match... if Vitor wins, he beat the #1 contender AND the Strikeforce MW champ. They also have the bad blood between Silva and Belfort. I truly believe Vitor is one fairly impressive win over Luke away from a rematch with Anderson. |
