Pat honestly is one of the most likeable guys out there.
Somehow people connect with his style and candor.
Was a fan from just his fighting style but what really did it was the hardonk fight and him confessing he was living off of Ketchup and on the verge of being homeless before cashing the win check.
he wears his heart on his sleeve and it makes him personable.

Everyone loves Pat Barry.

I recently rewatched Leon, directors cut, probably seen it 10 times already, but it's still amazing. Gary Oldman was amazing.

favorite part, except for perhaps "everyone":

Norman Stansfield: So, th-th-this, this is something personal, is it? What filthy piece of shit... did I do now?

Norman Stansfield: I'm sorry. [he moves in close to Mathilda.] And — you wanna join him?

And that fight.. I only saw it once, yeah I saw frustrated with all the hugging and lack of diving in when the other guy went down, but after I saw this pic it all made sense.

People were soooooooooo mad after this fight!!!
I always wondered if the people saying
"u just didn't want to beat your idol" actually thought about the implications of that statement:
1) I want another loss on my record
2) I only want half my paycheck
3) I wanna be second best today
4) I'd like to possibly get fired for losing
5) I want no bonus whatsoever
6) I want to get beat the fuck up
7) I want to get in a dangerous situation with a trained killer and not even try

Stuff like that! THATS why I always had a dumb look on my face when I'd hear that shit!!! And still hear it today even after this post!!! Phone Post
