Terry Etim returns to action on Saturday with a lightweight fight against Renee Forte on the ‘UFC on FUEL 7’ card. In the course of a conversation about the fight, the subject of Joe Lauzon comes up. He and Etim have been matched twice but the fight has fallen through both times because of injury. Lauzon has voiced the opinion that Etim doesn’t want to fight him. Etim very much begs to differ… |

I’m little bit better than that. I have no problem with the interviewer. But I only understand like 70% of what Etim is saying.
Subtitle is needed here…

Go easy on Joe ppl. I was just busting his balls. He's a good interviewer. It was just a comment that begged to be made since he was interviewing Terry Etim. Joe I'll vote you up big guy. |

No problem with Joe. Just with Etim.
And it's not a knock on him as a fighter or even as a person. He can't do anything about where he is from.
But I'm not the only one having a hard time understanding him because every time Etim speaks on pre-fight interview, there’s’ always a subtitle.

Ahh the scouse accent. I feel glad to be from Liverpool at times when the other people can't understand the interviews.

We can’t do anything about not understanding Etim’s accent lol. It sounds nothing like the English we are used to hearing/speaking. Just as Etim can’t do anything about where he grew up, I can’t do anything about where I’m from.

i feel etims pain im australian and when i go to the U.S for holidays i cant even order a beer at a bar i hav to write wat i want on a napkin and show it to them

I understand English accents just fine, but just not the cockney variety. Even Americans have trouble understanding Louisiana accents.
