Wardance5 - ^^^ looks like a supped up pontiac G8. looks great The pontiac is actually a watered down GTS. Aussie designed car with american muscle under the bonnet, good combo. |

PeterIrl - The evo 6, isn't that the one that had the rear arm recall? This was a warranty recall that happened just when the car came out. I have raced, rebuilt, and driven these cars cross countries without any issues. They are as reliable as a toyota and with some tweaking as fast as a supercar. |

Wovito - Audi a4, s4 if you feel like you need to be a maniac Great cars but they lack "feel" when driving them. Personally when it comes to compact executives I prefer the Mercedes C class or BMW 3 series. |

Mark1 -Burt Reynoldz - Sti's are nice. With an Accessport and downpipe you can pick up an extra 30-50 hp and a shitload more torque. Stock, the STi puts down 240-260 whp and wtq. With only an AP, downpipe and 100 octane fuel I was able to put down 325 whp and 385 wtq. Insurance, tires, and brakes are pretty expensive though. Optimism has nothing to do with it. I know those numbers sound silly but they were all done on a awd dyno. I still have the graphs. The dyno read around 260 baseline which falls in line with other dynos so it was calibrated right as well. Stock the STi makes 1 bar of boost. I was able to get almost 1.5 bar out of it. Couple that with running 100 oct fuel and you can make big power. |

The injectors were close to 100% duty cycle at those numbers. With 100 oct you don't really need meth to advance the timing to make these numbers. I have the dyno graphs to prove it. |

Mark1 - And AP doesn't have off the shelf maps for 100 octane Cobb doesn't offer them but there are unlocked maps on some of the STi sights from reputable tuners. I didn't use an off the shelf map though. I had customs maps made on the dyno. |

Mark1 - With the stock VF? Yeah. If you look at this dyno graph you can tell its a stock VF. It hits boost early and runs out of breath on the top. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u8/warcrocop/misc/dynochart.jpg The black line is air-fuel. 12-1 is somewhat lean but with 100 it was safe. Yellow line is boost. topped out around 21 psi and then tapers down to 14. VF's can't hold to redline. |

Why would anybody convert to meth for a 500HP engine? Is he running without a IC or what? A stage 1 evo + 80 hp NOS can hit 500hp at the crank with stock pistons and no more than 1.4 bar. |
