It was complicated because blinds were increasing every 30 mins and my 15 BBs would quickly be 10. But if I just wanted to cash, I probably could have coasted. But I wasn't there to make $180 (cashing was $400 but the buy in was $220) You have ignored this user.

ANDRE are you serious?? YOur hand is a nO BRAINER...you dont have nowhere near a stack big enough to get away from AK there! Good raise and its a AUTO Call..  very bad luck he has AA in SB when u have AK..it happens. Most players will rasie with AJ AQ even kq or random hands aginst a button raise. Even a solid guy with 20bb stack should threebet aq there if the have qq or lower u in a race with right odds to get a workable tourney stack. you are calling 20000 to win 28000  right odds against all hands except aa and kk. you could also have him dominated too. I got a guy to lay down AQ on a Q-T-3 board. I had 7-7. I did it with a check raise (minimum raise). You have ignored this user.

I called and he turned over aces and I was out. Seems pretty obvious in that sitch that at best you're in a coin flip race against a pocket pair. You have ignored this user.
