I figured I would throw you bums some bones. Some things I come across on Yjapan that are a decent find but not what I'm intersted in. Since I read and speak japanese fairly well i tend to find many things the rest of you can't. anyways I will update in this first post anytime I find anything of interest that I think is a decent deal or a rare find for you collectors. Things are harder to find these days, and the exchange rate is total shit. so expect to pay more than several years ago thats for sure. I'd stear clear of Rinkya. Several reliable japanese middlemen services can be found with a little research that charge alot less if you don't already have a connection in Japan. I will start off with 2/21/12 hard to find these signed anymore. decent price even by the time you get it to America page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w71589760 not a great deal but one of the coolest mma figures ever made imo. I have several. comes with several outfits and even a trading card. lots of articulation in this figure. ive found them for 1/2 this in Japan stores but they are very hard to find anymore. Limited production page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h156907989 one for the card collectors. Complete set of pancrase cards. Not a great deal but I sold several of these years ago for around $100 . I'd say they are worth up to $150 to a real collector today. Complete sets like this are very hard to find. page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e122661683 page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w71508960 2/22/12 Here is a mma charity that has been selling stuff for awhile now to benefit the Japan tsunami survivors. They have had lots of cool stuff in the past 8 months and all the profit goes to a good cause. Check them out often as new items are posted all the time. here is the link to their home page on yahoo japan openuser.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/user/mma_charity 2/26/12 Auto UFC 144 Poster. For those looking. page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f107974232 2/29/12 Pancrase gloves. not sure if these are the official gloves they use in the ring or fan gloves they sell. Don't follow pancrase anymore. but cool addition for glove colectors page17.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v228609118 sakuraba autographed shirt page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h161117651 3/4/12 this guy has several of the unique ufc144 promo posters. the big ones, not the little ones. all the proceeds go to tsunami survivors so do something good and get some cool items. page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c337924787 3/7/12 not a good deal but very hard to find these days. pride premium gloves. If you wait awhile the price might drop. This seller has had them up for about 1 month and they started out at 100000 yen (now they are 80000) My best guess is they will go to 700000 in a few more weeks since no one has bought them. page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h161192483 more ufc 144 mini posters page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d128680693 those PGP lighters are up for a lower price page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/158573703 |

VN, just fell on this site when looking for the Pride '03 lighters. Got a middle man company to purchase through, however they can't ship lighters outside of Japan due to postage restrictions. |

pull the flint and wick out of them, then problem solved. you can replace with any zippo flint and wick after you get them. but to be honest I don't know why there would be a problem shipping them. they are new with no fluid put in them. |

bongwater7654 - You have to use a middleman? unless you live in Japan, everyone uses a middleman of some kind..............but any self respecting collector should have a connection in Japan. Professional middleman services are a rip off for sure. |

you need to use someone who is in japan and has a Yjapan account. If you don't know someone there are services that will do it for you. if you have to use a professional service I would recommend Kuboten.com . they are the cheapest around (but you still get raped at 10.00 per auction plus 10% of final cost) there are other ones if you do some research like rinkya.com etc. but they are not cheap. If you take some time you can find some people in Japan that do it as a part time gig. They will charge less. Most Japanese are very trustworthy, it's a culture thing. hope this helps. If I could help you I would but I'm currently in China. I have friends there buy things for me if I find something I really want. |

yeah was going to post that but saw it only had a few minutes so figured i would let it pass. Kind of small anyways, But cool none the less. why do you use rinkya to find ufc items? if you go right to yahoo japan and type UFC you will get all the same listings plus more FYI. |

It seems to translate Japanese to english better than the translator I have installed on my pc. I search yahoo too. I wish I had you super language skillz ;) |

hahaha super language skills. not hardly. i've been learning japanese for 7 years. and I still just get by. Barely passed a college course. I actually read a lot better than I speak. It's hard to train myself to talk backwards. reading backwards is easier |

the chip guy - missed out on this one by a minute... :( I bid 3000 on it and lost it. If it was bigger i would have went all in on it. Koji outbid me on my first bid, and told me he was bidding for someone only up to 1300 yen. |

They never do anything in inches, so i was assuming it was cm. Which came out to like 10 x 14 just for the poster side. If it said inches i would have been all over it. |
