the Deltas did put up a HELL of a fight though, and although the M14 served them well against incredible odds (the Deltas knew it was a suicide mission that THEY requested in an attempt to rescue the American aircrew), it couldn't produce miracles

anyway, in my not-so-humble opinion, the M14/M1A is FAR > any AK variant
