I'm worried that this Batman will be too much like All-Star Batman (which I did not like) and less of the evolved Batman that we have seen since he willed himself back through time. I'd rather see that new Batman, the one more open about working with others.

Also, I'm curious to see if this JLA title will remain five years in the past or if it will jump to present time after the initial story arc.

Well that was garbage.

Worst idea in years.

Superman's suit looks like garbage. Batman's new look isn't much better.

Even Jim Lee sucks compared to what he used to be. I hate looking at hgis stuff now. A scratchy, rushed, hashed out parody of his older work. His clones are better than him now.

Have zero interest in this. I'll give Deathstroke a chance, that's about it.

Who's doing that? In this comic book, the art dominates the story. Other books have a different ration, but not this particular issue. So I could see if someone didn't like the art, they would have a difficult time liking the story.

Speaking only for myself, I realize that this is a different Superman/Batman/GL/etc... but I'm having a hard time with Superman knocking the crap out of GL and then talking nicely to Batman (seems like a set-up for next issue where Batman can show he's uber-prepared and take down Superman).

For that matter, it bothered me that Batman swiped the ring from GL.

I suppose this was ok, but I was expecting more considering the people involved and what DC has riding on this.

I don't think so - if I were writing the story I'd ignore the issue all together - or show how Batman is awesome in another way (like using his awesome detective skills later in the story and having GL realize, "man, we need this guy"...or something).

Zenoplata - Lol damn you guys complain a lot. Meow I'm not saying it's the greatest comic, but it's not as confused as the other DC stuff way, and I like that.

Sometmes these comics have so much garbage going on that you just have to wipe them clean and start fresh.

It's good for me I guess, meow I have a good entry point for DC Universe. I think I'll give it a chance.

GL is bragging about how powerful he is and saying Bats has no powers and Batman puts him in his place with one smooth move without boasting, violence or confronting GL. How could you not like that? This story is five years in the past, so I guess they were trying to make them all look young.

I also liked Bats swiping the ring. At this point, he's experienced and the rest of the Superheros shouldn't be.

One thing that I want to know is if the Flash telling Batman about what happened in Flashpoint is before or after this. I'm guessing after.
